General Information:​​

• Sense Academy tournaments are open to all players rated 1200 and under (Pre-K-12). Rated and unrated sections.

• Game Format: Swiss System

• USCF Membership: Current USCF membership required for all sections, except Novice sections

• Registration and Entry fee: $45 by December 6, 2024 11:59 PM Eastern Time, $55 after.

• Check-in: Arrival 15 minutes before the event is required for check-in

• Awarding Ceremony: After each section completes and the final results become available, the awarding will follow.

• Equipment: Chess sets, clocks, and notation sheets provided​

• Masks are optional inside the building

Tournament Sections:​​

• NOVICE (PreK-2) - Unrated (will not be USCF rated). No clock and notation (4 rounds)

  • Awards/Prizes: Trophies for top 5. Medals for the rest of the participants​

• ELEMENTARY (K-6) - USCF 400 and under. G/25;d5 (4 rounds)

  • Awards/Prizes: Trophies for top 5. Medals for all other players with 2 points and up​

• BOOSTER (K-12) - USCF 800 and under. G/25;d5 (4 rounds)

  • Awards/Prizes: Trophies for top 5. Medals for all other players with 2 points and up​

• RESERVE (K-12) - USCF 1200 and under. G/25;d5 (4 rounds)

  • Awards/Prizes:Trophies for top 5. Medals for all other players with 2 points and up​
